My name is Sarah and I am currently a student in Metz, France. I am originally from Atlanta, Georgia, United States.
I started this blog because I love to share my pictures on Facebook and my stories with my friends so that they can live vicariously through me, but then I realized that maybe I should start sharing my stories with the world, too.
What makes me different than other travelers? Well, I don't just travel, I literally move. I pack up everything I own, change bank accounts, learn new languages, and move to other countries. I figure out how to live: find an apartment, study at a university, find work, get visas, buy food at the supermarkets, etc. Of course, I do do a lot of "normal traveling" too ;)
Apart from studying, I enjoy dancing and music. I play piano, fiddle, balalaika, and flute. I am a professional bellydancer, but I also enjoy salsa, bachata, merengue, kizomba, west coast swing, east coast swing, lindy hop, blues, and so much more. My dance and my music are what keep me sane, along with painting my nails and continuously adding to my ever growing shoe collection.
I have an associate degree in Automotive Technology, a bachelor's degree in Applied Math, a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Polymer Engineering, a minor in Arabic, and I'm currently working toward a master's degree in engineering here in France.
I speak English, Arabic, French, and I'm currently learning Hebrew.
